Reorganizing head and neck cancer care in Belgium: the case for centralization

On Thursday, 11 June 2026, the Flemish Working Group on Head and Neck Tumors (VWHHT) will host its Spring Symposium at Nobel Auditorium, UZ Gent. The symposium will focus on the theme “Reorganizing Head and Neck Cancer Care in Belgium: The Case for Centralization.”

The evening will explore how the organization of head and neck oncology care in Belgium can evolve to improve quality, outcomes, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Particular attention will be given to the potential benefits of centralization and strategies to optimize care delivery for patients with head and neck cancer.
